What is a Diploma of Property?
The CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) is made up of 12 units of competency from the CPP – Property Services Training Package.
Why do I need it?
Because you want to reach your potential – and then extend it even further. Lead – not follow. Create – not imitate. And achieve authentic success in real estate, by anyone’s measure.
Successful completion of this course, along with the upskilling mentioned below, will meet the educational requirement to apply to be a licensed real estate agent in WA with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. (DMIRS).
It will also give you a high quality education in business, legal and compliance requirements according to West Australian law.
WCPT is a registered training organisation (RTO 51792) which means your Diploma will be a nationally recognised qualification, but your learning will all be on West Australian real estate law, which is very different to other parts of Australia.
What is blended learning?
Blended learning allows you to mix and match online learning with dedicated study days. You'll have access to studio quality videos, plus pre-recorded webinars, and WA focussed digital text books. WCPT employ a full-time student liason and support manager who is WA based and trained in WA law and real estate and there to answer all of your questions via phone or email.
Upskilling requirement
As well as the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) it is also necessary for most people to complete an upskill or bridging course which comprises units from CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.
This is part of a standard set by the Department of Mines Industry Regulation and Safety.
But don’t stress!
WCPT have made it easy to integrate these additional units into the time period where you will be
studying for the Diploma. We can provide you with a standard timetable or assist you by customising a
timetable to suit your needs.
There is an additional charge for these additional units. Brochure

Course Length
We describe this course as self-paced, meaning completion time varies based on individual circumstances.
- Units: The Diploma consists of twelve units, each with approximately 5 hours of video content. You can view these videos at your own pace.
- Learning Style: Some find the video content sufficient due to life skills and property experience. Others benefit from pausing, replaying, and taking notes, which can extend learning time. Some may watch videos multiple times or revisit specific ones as they progress.
- Reading: Those who prefer reading might spend additional time on the extensive texts attached to each unit or following along with the videos.
- Assessments: These involve multiple-choice comprehension questions, written knowledge questions, case studies, forms, contracts, and scenario interpretations. Each unit also has a research-based assignment.
